Yay, today is your day! The day you were born! I stayed up late last night and as each hour came I thought of what I was going through a year ago. Starting with the worst IV I have ever had. Note to self take pain pills before having an IV in my hand. Do not worry sweetheart, that was the most pain that I can recall from your birth. I barely remember that because the good out weighs the bad. One happy time was when I was pushing and they said stop pushing because her head is out. At that moment, I looked at your dad and he had tears in his eyes. When they pulled you out to put you on my stomach, the first thing I saw was that you had your dad's noise. I won't forget the first time I saw you, I had an overwhelming feeling of love and happiness. So today I say Happy 1st Birthday, Hailee! You are my joy and I thank you for each smile and hug you give me. I love you more than you know.
